it’s Chinese New Year… and that means: MAHJONG! But we haven’t got to play for this year yet, because my family is sick and/or busy. We kinda miss playing mahjong as a family.

i get the feeling that Sollux is the kind of bastard who would not appear to be winning at first. Then suddenly, he would 自摸* and 胡**, and you start cursing him while handing over your money.
* zì mō: winning without getting the last tile from another player. It gives you double earnings from everyone.
** hú: win

Dave. He should never be allowed to teach anyone any game. For clarification: the suit Dave is holding out is 筒. The mandarin word for bucket is 桶. Both are pronounced exactly the same way (tŏng). There, i hope i have ruined enhanced the mahjong-playing experience for all mahjong-players.
